Submit a Privacy Rights Request

Depending on where you reside, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information under applicable data protection laws. This page explains those rights and how to submit a request to exercise them.

Your Privacy Rights

Subject to applicable law and certain limitations, your rights may include:

  • Right to Know / Access: to request information about the personal information we collect, use, disclose, or sell/share.
  • Right to Access Specific Pieces of Information: to request a copy of certain personal information we maintain about you.
  • Right to Delete: to request deletion of personal information we collected from you, subject to legal and operational exceptions.
  • Right to Correct: to request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing: to direct us not to sell or share your personal information.
  • Right to Limit the Use of Sensitive Personal Information: for California residents, to request that we limit our use and disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information to certain purposes allowed by law.
  • Right to Opt Out of Targeted Advertising: in certain jurisdictions, to opt out of the processing of personal information for targeted advertising.
  • Right to Appeal: where required by law, to appeal our decision if we decline to act on your request.

We will honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals for applicable opt-out requests, as described in our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page.

How to Submit a Request

You may exercise your privacy rights through any of the following methods:

  • Online Form: Submit your request using the form on this page.
  • Email: Email us at [email protected] and include:
    • Your name;
    • The email address you used with Ansira (if different from the one you are writing from);
    • The right(s) you wish to exercise; and
    • Any additional information that may help us verify your identity.
  • Phone: Call us at 800-231-8179 and request to submit a privacy rights request.

Verification Process

To protect your information, we must verify your identity before fulfilling your request. We may ask you to provide additional information, such as your contact details, account information, or other identifiers you have previously provided to us. You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may require written authorization and proof of the agent’s identity.

Response Timeline

We will respond to your request within the timeframe required by applicable law (generally within 45 days, with a possible extension where permitted). If we are unable to honor your request in whole or in part, we will explain the reason in our response. Where an appeal right is available, we will provide instructions on how to appeal our decision.

Limitations

Certain information may be exempt from deletion, access, or disclosure for legal, security, or operational reasons (for example, records kept to comply with legal obligations or to detect fraud). If an exemption applies, we will explain this in our response.
