The latest Design Builder update introduces a structured data source flow that connects coupon maker templates to centralized CSV data files. Template designers can now upload tenant-level data sources, tie them to text tags, and create reusable keywords and rules that automatically update offer details, legal copy, and other downstream content in the design. This setup lets teams define controlled, data-driven behavior in coupon templates before they reach end users, reducing manual edits and keeping content consistent across every offer variation.
With this flow, designers can configure tags to pull values from specific data columns, choose single- or multi-select options, and map dependencies so one selection (such as state) can automatically populate related fields (such as legal or disclaimer text). Keywords created directly in the design become reusable building blocks in this logic, helping brands keep templates like coupons accurate, compliant, and easier to maintain at scale.
