Templates developed in Design Builder will now have a feature that automatically updates the year in the mandatory legal message based on the current year. Tempalte Designers will no longer need to manually update templates annually. By using a predefined syntax, the system dynamically populates the year wherever required, ensuring accuracy and saving time.
To use this feature, we have introduced a dynamic placeholder: $$yyyy$$. Tempalte Designers can insert this placeholder anywhere within a template where the current year needs to be displayed. The placeholder is case-sensitive and must be written exactly as $$yyyy$$. Once published live, when users access the template, the system will automatically replace $$yyyy$$ with the current year, ensuring that the year is always up to date without requiring manual intervention.
