A major broadcast satellite television brand had difficulty managing multiple website service vendors. With Ansira, they were able to smoothly transition to a single platform while assisting retailers with marketing concierge services.

The challenge

Too many service vendors led to complex processes

A major broadcast satellite service provider wanted to reduce the number of vendors used for website services while allowing their retailers to apply eligible co-op funds toward the website services fees.

Previously, the brand worked with two website platforms to provide website services to their retailers. The first service was a microsite, which was offered to retailers at no charge as fees were covered by corporate. The second option was a fully comprehensive website service that was managed by three separate vendors. Creative and promotional updates were required for all three options, which were cumbersome to manage and required a number of resources.

The solution

Ansira transitioned the brand with platform consolidation

Ansira provided an outbounding service to retailers to help transition the microsite service from the existing vendor, which comprised one top-level domain used for all retailers with a dedicated subdomain for each retailer.

The second portion of the project included transitioning to the full website service on three different site providers to the Ansira platform. Ansira also provided local marketing concierge services to the retailers and assisted them in pointing their existing custom domains to the new website platform, making the process as seamless as possible to ensure the retailers’ websites had no downtime or loss in traffic.
