What brand does a great job with their email program?
Brooklinen cuts through the noise of a full inbox by channeling curiosity with subject lines like, “Hmmm…what this?” Upon opening the email, they use animation to tease out a secret upcoming sale. Bonus points for embedding a calendar invite to make it all too easy to remember.
What’s one loyalty trend you’ve been watching lately?
Most brands struggle with personalizing their offers, content and experiences based on customer behavior, and many offer no personalization at all or just point-centric programs. As a result, loyalty marketing efforts feel rehearsed and impersonal. So, if you’re not leveraging technology to get 1:1 personalization, you’re losing.
What’s your favorite part of the EiQ experience?
I will never forget in 2018 when I was grabbing some coffee between sessions and all of a sudden, a New Orleans-style brass band comes parading through. I was definitely alert for the next speaker.
What’s the first place you’ll travel to when the vaccine is readily available?
St Lucia. By the time it’s safe to travel again, I can’t wait to be on a beach with a drink in my hand and not a worry in the world.
