Austin’s experience in customer engagement began at the age of 12, when he sold snow-removal insurance door to door. From that first policy to now, one truth has stayed paramount: You must know your customers in order to grow your customers. As SVP of strategy, Austin helps billion-dollar brands develop holistic strategies to drive customer loyalty. With a master’s degree from Northwestern, he honed his understanding of “irrational loyalty” through more than 18 years of working with brands such as Best Buy, Mercedes, Domino’s, Chili’s, AMC Theatres, Lululemon, and Panera. In his spare time, he lectures at universities across the United States, preaching the gospel of irrational loyalty driven by data and enabled by technology.
