Industry leader Jim Lyski will be joining Ansira’s board of directors effective August 1, 2017. He has more than 20 years of experience in brand management, marketing strategy, and enterprise analytics for national consumer and B2B brands. With a focus on product development and innovation, he has successfully led several companies through digital transformation initiatives.
“We are delighted that Jim has agreed to join Ansira’s board of directors,” says James Warner, Ansira board chairman. “At a time when we are constantly looking for opportunities to expand, Jim’s best-in-class marketing and brand management experience makes him a valuable addition to our board.”
Currently, Lyski is chief marketing officer (CMO) and executive vice president (EVP) of CarMax, the nation’s largest retailer of used cars. Prior to joining CarMax, he served as CMO for The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company, as well as CMO for Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company. He has also held marketing leadership positions at Cigna Healthcare Inc. and FedEx Corporation.
“It is a pleasure to be working with the rest of the board to help the Ansira management team execute the company’s growth strategy,” Lyski says. “Ansira’s strong focus on data and the unprecedented results it provides to their clients have made it a leader in the industry. I am positive that my experience in marketing strategy will provide additional value while positioning the company for continuous success.”
Ansira is majority owned by Advent International, one of the largest and most experienced global private equity investors.
“Jim is an accomplished and experienced leader in the marketing industry,” says Nick Pike, vice president at Advent International. “We believe he will help support Ansira’s management team as they identify attractive growth opportunities and work to build upon the company’s positive momentum. We are confident Ansira will benefit from his insight and expertise.”
