Like you, we’ve been actively monitoring the updates around COVID-19 and want you to know that we’re here to help in any way we can. For brands with a distributed sales model, the projected shift in consumer purchasing patterns, especially at a local level, will be significant in the coming weeks to months. But the novel coronavirus is also having a significant impact on our Ansira employees, and we want you to know the steps we’ve taken to support our co-workers and teammates at the same time we look to continue to serve our clients.
On the 13th of March, we made the decision to have the vast majority of employees work-from-home (WFH) across our office locations. Immediately after this decision was made, all clients were informed that we were working remotely, and that we remain dedicated to their business.
The shift to WFH was swift and coincided with an internal decision to implement a new crisis sick leave policy and proactively take the step to schedule deep cleanings across offices in Saint Louis, Dallas, and Chicago. We also created a central hub for all internal updates on our intranet.
As the situation remains fluid across the globe, our team will continue to WFH. We will also continue to look to local, state, and federal updates and announcements to help inform decisions in the coming weeks. I firmly believe what we do now matters. Everything we do in the coming days and weeks will help flatten the curve and save lives and I’m so proud that the Ansira team is acting with the greater good in mind, proceeding with grace, kindness, and intelligence.
