Forrester defines a performance marketing agency thusly: “a service provider that helps marketers move customers from discovery to exploration to purchase via direct-response marketing and advertising in channels such as search, social, display, e-commerce, and affiliate.” For this report, Forrester divvied up the performance marketing agencies into large, midsize, and smaller players, based on revenues for media services only. Ansira falls into the latter category.
The research firm goes on to identify each vendor’s primary capabilities. Ansira is included among agencies with deep expertise in paid and organic search — or what Forrester calls “performance search” — especially in the retail, quick-service restaurants (QSR), and business services verticals.
